This section addresses the threat of coastal storm surges and urban flooding hitting New York City public school infrastructure. I wrote this proposal to persuade government funding agencies, specifically the NYC School Construction Authority and FEMA, to finance a proactive engineering solution. My written report outlines a technical plan to relocate basement utilities to upper floors and install decentralized solar microgrids. To translate these detailed arguments for a live audience during my presentation, I created a visual flyer handout. I adapted my ideas across mediums by compressing long paragraphs into minimal text, creating an easy-to-paste project timeline matrix, and embedding a spatial flood surge map to establish immediate geographic urgency.
