directive memo

This assignment responded to a campus workplace situation where weekly Student Association meetings became disorganized, inefficient, and counterproductive. The purpose of my memo was to implement a modified version of parliamentary procedure to restore organizational order. My initial draft used harsh, emotional vocabulary like “chaos” and accused attendees of undermining “professional integrity”. The instructor feedback prioritized refining my tone to be firm yet objective, adding specific operational details, and clarifying my source adaptation. In the revised draft, I replaced adversarial language with professional terms, provided explicit guidance on how motions are introduced and how votes are counted, and clarified our streamlined adaptation of Robert’s Rules of Order to improve usability for our members.
